The Brazilian twins known as Os Gemeos, who we've come to know and love, have made their way to Vancouver, Canada, this time to make their mark on six enormous industrial silos on Granville Island. They rocked six of their well recognised characters, wearing bright clothes on their yellow skin. The main difference between this mural and their previous work, is that the curved silos gave the brothers a chance to work with a curved and three dimensional surface, instead of the normal flat surfaces.
Watch as the brothers discuss the enormity of taking on such a huge wall (a staggering 70 feet), and wrap their heads around the pronunciation of the word 'silos'. They have a unique chemistry which really sets them apart from other artists, as they can work on each others pieces and switch back and forth, always knowing what the other is thinking and the creative direction in which they are heading. Enjoy these two videos and a stash of flicks of the project!
