NEMCO - YOU MUST BURN TO SHINE

The crew over at Arty Graffiti Melbourne have just dropped a feature on Nemco and his latest production in Melbourne, which we just had to bring over to share with you. The Milan bred writer has been on fire for the last 18 months, and we're lucky to have him on Australian shores since his arrival in late 2014. Nemco's style is far from run of the mill. We doubt you've seen anything like this before, and we're sure you'll see some cats trying to rock this in the future. Imitation is the highest form of flattery - isn't that right?

Melbourne is arguably Australia's hot spot for all things graffiti and street art, which is probably why this Italian import has chosen the city as his new place to settle. Melbourne is the canvas to a lot of work, but Nemco has set himself apart from the rest with the sheer size and tidiness of this piece - titled "You Must Burn To Shine". His unique style blending aspects of traditional graffiti along with new, more 'artistic' aspects, stands out from all other works, and is without a doubt, super fresh. Nemco's piece, which spans a massive 20+ meter wall is one of Melbourne's largest, and certainly one of the most recognisable. The piece must be attracting quite the crowd of eyes, as something a little more 'visually friendly' than traditional graffiti which unfortunately has a tendency to deter uneducated viewers who have terribly misshapen views on the art form and lifestyle we love so much. The detail within the piece is also one of it's greatest points, and something that will keep it interesting over a long period of time. We've been staring at it for a while now, and keep noticing new odds and ends. He's a thinker!
